COLORS is an annual fundraiser organised by a Hyderabad based NGO V Care. V Care is a non-profit organization working for underprivileged children - orphaned, abandoned, destitute and other vulnerable groups. Our mission is to change the lives of such children - by providing them with long-term care. This includes basic needs, education and healthcare, and the skills necessary to transform them into responsible citizens. We are based in Dundigal, outskirts of Hyderabad. 200 of our children stay in a 20000 sq ft facility. We also have a separate facility for cooking and dining. Forty of our children in STD XI and above stay in various residential colleges in Hyderabad.
The last edition of COLORS in 2017 has featured eminent dancer Padma Shri Shobana’s at the Shilpa Kala Vedika and its a huge success. COLORS with Chitra is in support of the girl child and the funds raised through this event will be used to construct Girls block at our orphanage in
